In 1978, Vancouver Co-Op Radio started broadcasting "The Coming Out Show" Thursday nights 7:30PM to 8:30 PM on 102.7 FM. 

The show was such a hit that in 1979, the 1 hour time slot was expanded to 2 hours. 

"The Coming Out Show" moved to 7-8PM , it was renamed over the years to "Fruit Punch", "Fruit Salad" and now "Out and About in Canada" 

"The Lesbian Show" began airing 8-9PM and was renamed in 2013 to "GenderQueeries, the Two-Spirited, Questioning, TransLezBiGay, Queer Community Show
